one portion from each of the following categories each day: Historical (Genesis - II Kings) Devotional (I Chronicles - Song of Solomon) Prophetical (Isaiah - Malachi) Doctrinal (New Testament) Consequently, you will maintain maximum interest and receive devotional help daily because of the mixture of content. The average amount read each day will be LESS THAN FOUR CHAPTERS. |

NOTE 1: On Leap Years you could read five of the most important chapters in the Bible: John 3 (Salvation), Romans 8 (Sanctification), I Corinthians 13 (Love), I Thessalonians 4 (Hope), and Hebrews 11 (Faith).
NOTE 2: Dots following verse references indicate that one should read to the end of the chapter (e.g. Isa.1:18.. means read Isaiah 1:18 to the end of Isaiah chapter 1).
